Stitch Sampler Crochet Cowl

This entry was first published in September, 2015.

The holidays are fast approaching, which means I’ve entered a kind of gift making frenzy. Any day now I’m going to slip into full-on Oprah mode: You get a cowl! And you get a cowl! Everyone gets cowls!

Ahem. All over the top enthusiasm aside, and in the spirit of giving, here are my pattern notes if you’d like to put together a sweet last-minute gift. One skein of yarn and a few hours were enough to whip up this cute little cowl/neck warmer.

I used one ball of Cascade Tangier, a beautiful silk acrylic blend yarn. Using a 5.5mm hook, I had about 18 inches left over. Yarn chicken win!

Please note, these are really only my rough notes indicating what types of stitches I used in each row. I haven’t tested them as a complete pattern. Okay, disclaimer over. Let’s get on with it, shall we?
